Ike has been working in the marine industry since 1997 when he was a U.S. Navy Diver working in Underwater Salvage and Ships Husbandry in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. While in Hawaii, he started offshore racing and became obsessed with all things boat related. In 2005, after moving back to the Chesapeake Bay area where he grew up, Ike continued to work in the marine field as a captain, technician, diver, and in several other capacities. After spending years working with an AMS® mentor, Ike obtained his initial certification as a marine surveyor in 2021 and started his own company, Deep Sea LLC.
